Interaction with the Netherlands

Saga Prefecture and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tokyo entered into a "creative partnership and exchange agreement" in 2016. Through it, they are promoting the invigoration of creative fields through tie-ups that incorporate Dutch design and Saga manufacturing. As one aspect of product development related to this agreement,
the brand "2016/" was created with the theme "the past, present and future of Arita ware." The brand has created "Arita Huis," an exchange and PR facility where creators can spend time.
