National Highway Route 210 UkihaBypass

The railway region of Route 210 is formed by streets where this road is its center. Also, in the former Yoshii Town region, buildings of historical ShirakabeDozostand along roadside. However, Road 210 has narrow sidewalk and shoulder, cannot secure sufficient right turn lane at the intersection, etc. Thus, frequent occurrences of traffic congestions and accidents are becoming obvious.

The UkihaBypass improves severe traffic environment and revitalizes the region. Currently, it is open temporarily to 2 lanes which is approximately 13 km, including the 1.3 km road that was opened on December of 2013 from Kurume City TanushimaruTanushimaru-choto Tokiwa.
